Frequently Asked Questions

Do you sell “teacup” Yorkies?

“Teacup” is an informal term that some breeders use to describe smaller Yorkies. It is not an official breed classification and will not appear on any pedigree. At Yorkies SA, we are transparent about the expected adult size of each puppy, but we focus first on health, temperament, and good socialisation.

What documents will I receive with my puppy?

Every Yorkies SA puppy leaves with:

  • A printed purchase agreement with our health guarantee
  • A vaccination booklet with microchip details
  • A pedigree certificate (registered with EKASA or another registry – your pedigree will tell you where your puppy is registered)
  • Feeding instructions and puppy care guidelines

Are your puppies vaccinated and microchipped?

Yes. All puppies are vaccinated, and microchipped before leaving our care. The microchip number is recorded in the vaccination booklet provided – it is the new owners responsibility to register the microchip
