1.1 General

By accessing or using the Yorkies SA website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site immediately.

1.2 Puppy Reservations & Payment

  • No upfront payment is required for puppies being collected in person or delivered by road.
  • A non-refundable deposit is only payable if specifically agreed in writing (e.g., to secure a specific puppy).
  • Full payment in advance is required only if the puppy must be transported by air to a province where road delivery is not possible. This excludes Cape Town – Cape Town customers only pay upon collection of the puppy from Pet Lounge
  • Accepted payment methods: Immediate EFT or Card payment

1.3 Health & Guarantee

All puppies leave our care with a health guarantee as outlined in our printed agreement. Buyers are responsible for ongoing veterinary care, feeding, and the general well-being of the puppy.

1.4 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.

2.2 How We Use Your Information

We use your information to process enquiries, arrange puppy placements, and provide customer support. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties without your consent.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no internet transmission is 100% secure.

2.4 Your Rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you may request to:

  • Access the information we hold about you.
  • Correct or update inaccurate details.
  • Request deletion of personal information no longer required.

Due to the nature of live animals, we do not accept returns once a puppy has left our premises, except under special circumstances.

  • All sales are final — no cash refunds will be issued.
  • Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
